Wow what a month that has been with probably the most stuff happening that Fastline Simulation has ever seen!

Fastline Simulation: October Update 2015

Just in case you missed it, the EWS liveried ex VDA ZCA Sea Urchins and rebodied dia. 1/146 HTV coal hoppers have been released on Steam Marketplace. Alongside this we've been working really hard on some of our other Train Simulator expansions and have a considerable number that are ready and waiting for release along with others working their way through internal and external quality assurance.

Dia. 1/141 and dia. 1/146 HTO 21t Coal Hoppers

Both of these packs have now been submitted and are awaiting their turn to pass through Dovetail Games' internal testing process before being released. We've also upgraded/converted our BR 20T brake van to create a dia. 1/506 unfitted brake van to bundle with both of these packs and the BDO bogie bolsters to ensure you can create prototypical trains.

BDO 60t Bogie Bolster

These are now complete and are currently completing their round of internal testing before we submit them for acceptance and eventual release on to Steam Marketplace.

HTV 25t Coal Hopper and dia 1/146 HTV Coal Hoppers

The hoppers that will form these packs all basically complete and will be seeing their final conversion in the next week or so before entering going through our internal testing regime.

BRV BORAIL 60T bogie rail wagons

Both variants of these are now all unwrapped with just the loads to complete before the textures can have their ambient occlusion maps baked ready for the creation and application of the production textures and materials.

Ready for release

Oh, and then there are these packs that have successfully passed through quality assurance at Dovetail Games and are all now ready for release in the near future:

  • CEA Covered Hoppers [Loadhaul]
  • CEA Covered Hoppers [EWS]
  • HSA SCrap wagons ex. HEA Hoppers
  • RNA Barrier Wagons ex. HEA Hoppers
  • VCA 45t GLW 2 axle vans

Workshop Scenarios

We haven't forgotten that we promised there would be a pair of scenarios released to Steam Workshop in support of all our Marketplace packs. However, we did want to wait until the first packs were released and we knew they were stable before releasing the scenarios. With this in mind, the first of the scenarios are currently passing through internal testing and should start to be uploaded to the Workshop very soon.

As you can see it's been a very hectic and packed month and it looks as though November is going to be very similar. Thank you to all of you who have sent messages of support and to those who have already started buying the recently released packs on Marketplace.
